There are a few meetups that are worth your while if you are interested in Arduino.
Hack613 is a meetup group that’s much more than Arduino! Artist, engineers, makers, hackers and people that are just thinking about what to make. We’re all about the fun of sharing and supporting each others projects.
We attend many different venues and groups to develop new connections.
No bureaucracy, just fun-ocracy. Come out and join the maker movement.
Artengine’s ModLab, Wednesdays, 7pm. Room M70, 2 Daly Avenue. This is an open house for people of all interests. Wifi available. Bring a project to work on or just come to see what’s up. From the main entrance walk past front desk then turn left before entering a gallery. After turning left you’ll go through a pair of doors then a single door and find the lab on your right. Parking alert, front desk is calling parking control on people using the building’s lot lately.
University of Ottawa Makerspace, Sundays, noon or so. It is a new Hackspace which is open to the public on Sundays. They have CNC cutters and 3D printers. They have a free wifi.
Come with a project or come just for social and to see what’s going on.

Ottawa Robotics Enthusiasts! Location. They meet once per month. Passcode at the door “Arduino Blink”. Ottawa Robotics Enthusiasts engage in a variety of technologies including Arduino! So come by, meet some experts and beginners at robotics! They tend to do a little show and a little after social so it’s a blast.
