I like salsa dancing but I have a hard time staying cool.

Here’s an inexpensive and easy solution! And it works great.

I got a 120mm-5V fan in ebay for $5.53. I attached an old USB connector to it and presto it works with my cell phone booster which is solar charged.

Some of the fans listed in that ebay listing already have the usb connector so in theory this is off the shelf…

It barely adds any weight to my carry for dancing. Also it barely takes any current so it lasts really long (this will depend on the specifications of the fan you choose).

It’s a pretty trivial project for posting here but someone in the salsa community has suggested I add lights. So I’m going to add some colored lights. Question is what to have as sensors? IR temperature? Sound?

In the USB cables black is ground and red is 5V.
