Doug and I are working on a fun hack for those flying disco ball toys! The idea is to do some IR experiments.

Here’s what we’ve figured out. It seems to respond to any modulated IR source. TV remotes (38K), the remote that came with Dougs but not a plain IR LED. It seem to have three states that you can cycle through with the remote, climb, sink and off.
