I have this cool lava light designed by Michael. I’ve interested in exploring light so today I decided to assemble it.

• Wow! Instant Christmas. I didn’t really expect that but all the vivid colors of the RGB LEDs was a surprise experience.
• If you want to invite someone to learn to solder or learn to make things, this Lava is a great project. It’s easy since the printed circuit board is very clearly marked. There is also video instruction.
• I’ve never had so much fun moving a piece of paper around in front of light. Paper acts as a diffuser for LEDs.
