The Good:

Seems one of the solar phone adopters is interested in going further than his phone. Sanjay is ready to take his cell phone, laptop and some of his musical devices off the grid. That’s cool. This is exciting. I never knew “prepping” for a grid failure could be so fun!

Not only that it turns out that the system I already have can handle not just my phone but my cameras. I am now charging those batteries too!

The Bad:

This might be as much as a thousand bucks. But remember its not about the cost of electricity. It’s about bragging. 🙂

The Ugly:

In all the excitement later today I went to take some measurements and I… I um….. bricked the inverter. I think I can fix it since the little blue thing (pictured) appears to be a 15Amp fuse which has no continuity. So I’ll either jump it or put another fuse. How rude.
