I had fun making a small tic-tac-toe game so decided to try something bigger.

I managed to get together a small 8″ checker board from hardboard. Now I have to make the checkers themselves.

This took a bit of time but it was pretty fun. Also keep in mind, for a larger chess board the time doesn’t increase much. Perhaps the cutting time would be slightly more but working with larger pieces shouldn’t take any-more time.

I made a little bag of checkers too. The color is seems to be fairly close with the checkers (but not too bad with the board). If it’s problematic I’ll make some from acrylic.
