Making Parts for Little Dipper

I started to cut out the parts out of 1/4″ hardboard on my CNC laser cutter. It was making a bit of a mess so I decided to do the 1/4″ parts on my CNC gantry mill. I hadn’t use the mill in a while so I had a delay as the parallel cable wasn’t plugged in firmly and I was loosing a few steps.

That went pretty fast so I’m now doing some tweaks to some of the parts and will do another run on the CNC later today.

I did a test fit simulation on the computer but some things are pretty hard to catch. For example I had the wrong measurement for the X-Axis bearing outside diameter.
