Squiggly Draw V3
Here’s another version of Squiggly-Graph I made for three-year old Baby Angelo.
I tried bigger teeth to see what would happen. One of the two gears is actually captive once you mesh it. In theory that could make it easier. But I had to grind it a bit as it was catching too.
Also it only takes four or five turns before it repeats. I think this will make it easier for Baby Angelo. The gear-toy I’m making him won’t be ready in time, I’ll finish it for another occasion.
I made the gears in the Woodgears.ca gear software, finished up the design in Sketchup. I then used Sketch-U-CAM to create the g-code and run a CNC Mill with Mach3 software.
